What to Expect

There are two entry points to the festival: one at Pennsylvania Avenue NW and 7th Street NW and another at 3rd Street NW and Constitution Avenue. Have a valid photo ID ready while you're in line; you must be 21 or older to purchase and consume alcohol.

Check in and get your commemorative Snallygaster tasting glass. Wander aimlessly and discover over 400 beers, wines, and ciders. Go from tent to tent, and don't forget to take notes on what you really enjoy! A standard tasting pour will be about 4 ounces, so pace yourself. You can always ask for a short pour to hit as many vendors as possible, too.

Take a break and get a bite from one of D.C.'s best food trucks or cop a squat and listen to some live music. You never know who you'll meet at Snallygaster, so dress to impress and don't be shy!
