Grab your picnic blanket and stake out a spot at the National Sculpture Garden for free jazz concerts each Friday night, all summer long.
Jazz in the Garden is a fantastic way to kick off your weekend. Split a pitcher of sangria with friends and relax to the sounds of music and trickling fountains. The Sculpture Garden is directly adjacent to the National Gallery of Art so you may want to arrive a little early and view some of the artwork before the concert. Either way, you're in for a good time!

There are just a few rules to keep in mind when visiting the Sculpture Garden. Bags will be checked upon entry so make sure you're not bringing in outside food or drink. Though it's all around you, do not touch any of the artwork. Children are certainly welcome, but do not put them on your shoulders as you walk through the gardens; strollers are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
