Enjoy hundreds of thousands of holiday twinkles from Nov. 15 to Jan. 4.

The Mile High City seems to be pulling out all the stops this year when it comes to celebrating the holidays. We've got grand illuminations, the parade of lights, the world's tallest digital tree and so many other merry and bright events.

Now, you can add two more to the list of must-sees! Both Water World and Bandimere Speedway are setting up drive-through Christmas in Color display this season. Last year, the display was only at Water World, but people loved it so much, a second location was added. The company behind the events is also the same one that puts on the Dillon Ice Castle display, which is also a not-to-miss sight during the winter season.

"Load up your friends and family into the van (or car, or truck) and experience Christmas like never before. Drive through acres of more than 1.5 million lights perfectly synchronized to holiday music you’ll hear right through your radio. You’ll drive by giant candy canes, snowmen, arched pathways and more. It’s like being immersed in another world. In fact, we won’t judge you if you join the kids with your face pressed against the window," says the event website

Tickets are sold by the carload and start at $26. Weekends and certain evenings may be more expensive. If you are hoping to save a little money or have a whole crew you want to take, look into the Happy Hour Promo (not valid Dec, 17-24). During the first hour of the event, the promo will let you see the show twice OR bring in a second vehicle for free.

Guests will be given a pair of 3D glasses to experience the lights in a whole new way, and it should take about 30 minutes to drive through the whole show.

The best part is that not only will you get to immerse yourself in the wonder of the season, it's also for a good cause.

"Because giving is better than receiving, each year, we take pride in giving back to the community! A portion of all proceeds from Christmas in Color go to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation to help bring joy to local children facing critical illness," says the event website. "To join the cause, guests can also make a donation online when purchasing tickets to Christmas in Color, or drop off a donation (cash or check) at the end of the experience. Thank you for help us make the holidays brighter for children battling critical and life-changing illnesses!"
