Artists and art collectors will not want to miss this year’s Bethesda Row Arts Festival, October 14-15!

If you have had enough of fairs and wine tastings, the annual Bethesda Row Arts Festival might be a nice change of pace and scenery when the festivities kick off on October 14. Each year, four whole blocks of downtown Bethesda are turned into an art gallery as artists display and sell their work. When: October 14, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. | October 15, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Where: Bethesda Row neighborhood | 4841 Bethesda Avenue [gallery size="large" columns="2" ids="4431,4432"] This year’s festival will feature the work of more than 190 of the region’s most talented artists. Art collectors will have the chance to browse paintings, photography, drawings, ceramics and more. Original, high-quality art can cost anywhere from $25 to $25,000. Expect to hear live music performed by local musicians in several different genres. At 11 a.m. on Saturday, Justin Trawick will kick off the acoustical performances, only to be followed by Julie Mack and Colonel Josh. On Sunday, Wytold will perform at noon and the 19th street band will close out the musical performances at 3 p.m.
The event also features dozens of dining options, whether you want to enjoy an elegant meal or just a hamburger.
