Let’s start by clearing up one of the biggest misconceptions about Valentine’s Day: how it is spelled. Valentine is a name of a person, hence singular and possessive when it comes to his day, so the apostrophe s becomes mandatory. "Valentines Day" is wrong because there is only one St. Valentine linked to the celebration, and it would be a mistake to pluralize his name. #grammarfacts

D.C. may not come out as the most romantic city in the world, but there is always hope—and also, there is always OCN. Here are the top five most romantic things you can do in D.C. this Valentine’s day.
