Enjoy live, online performances from the Kennedy Center—right from your couch!
We’ve previously mentioned that the Kennedy Center canceled their 2020 lineup due to COVID-19, but we have an exciting update! The Kennedy Center recently launched a new series in partnership with Facebook called Arts Across America. The program brings free, live-streaming performances weekdays at 4 p.m. ET over a 20-week period. You can watch the livestream via Facebook Live and YouTube on the Kennedy Center’s website.
"Throughout the fall, Arts Across America will feature over 200 diverse, visionary artists who play leadership roles in tehir communities, exemplify unique regional artistic styles, and are using their medium as a tool for advocacy and social justice," a statement on the website says.

The series debuted July 27, and past performances highlighted local Washington, D.C., artists Christie Dashiell and Mark G. Meadows, as well as Kansas City's Poet Laureate Glenn North, the Earl White Stringband and Eddie Bond & Friends, and many, many more talented artists from across the United States. Past performances are still available to be watched via the site.
