This is definitely a must-visit maze to wander through state by state.

This lovely fall season, we at OCN have been bringing you—our loyal readers—all things fall, including comforting recipes, unique ways to enjoy the changing leaves, beer and wine festivals, fall beauty tips, and so much more. In September, we gave you a few Virginia corn mazes to visit, however, we've come across a new corn maze that is definitely worth a mention! We just had to share this patriotic corn maze with you and add them to our recommendation list to visit this fall.

The theme this year is: "God Bless the USA!"

Last year, owner Stewart Etter designed his corn maze in the shape of the state of Virginia, and it was a huge success. This year, he decided to push himself further … the four-acre corn maze is beautifully cut in the shape of the contiguous United States.

According to Etter, it is “dedicated to the beauty and wonder of our great nation.”As you follow the paths throughout the states, use your map and clues to help you find the sixteen cities used as checkpoints. Etter already revealed three: Los Angeles, New Orleans, and of course, Bristol.

In addition to the United States corn maze, Stewart Etter designed a corn maze for the little ones in the shape of a barn. While making their way through the maze they have to search for six barnyard animals. How fun is that?

This is the perfect time of fall for the family to visit Lee Highway Farm. In addition to the patriotic United States corn maze and the children's barn maze, they also offer hayrides around the property. You can purchase homegrown mums and over 80 varieties of pumpkins, squash, and gourds, which Etter humbly yet proudly boasts, “is the largest selection in the region!” You and your family can grab a wagon and wander through the pumpkin patch and find the exact perfect pumpkin just for you.

Lee Highway Farm definitely welcomes their guests and encourages everyone to have a great time.

In a 2018 interview, Etter spoke about his farm, and I loved his sentiment and work ethic:

“Just on pumpkins, in the summer, I probably spend about 40 or 50 hours a week nonstop, It’s hot. It’s pretty rough work. But it’s a labor of love. If you didn’t love this, you’d be completely miserable. I’ve always had a thing for pumpkins—ever since I was a little boy.”
