Remember The Magic School Bus? It's vintage now, guys.

On September 23, the Ferguson Center for the Arts (the relatively classy Newport News venue), will host a showing of The Magic School Bus: Lost in the Solar System, starring Miss Frizzle.

Unfortunately, tickets are $35. Why? I don't know.

But don't worry -- it's only $20 for valet parking -- your valet parking to go see The Magic School Bus.

Despite the unnecessarily steep price that is basically the cost of your power bill, you can't deny that any Magic School Bus feature is an eternally irrefutable classic.

The upcoming feature starring Miss Frizzle and, of course, the Bus itself, will be aired at the Ferguson Center on Sunday, September 23, from 3 to 6 p.m. Student and children's tickets are available for a discount at the price of $10.

The site description reminds us all of the stealthily educational program we came to know and love. The Magic School Bus: Lost in the Solar System will feature this riveting PBS storyline:

When the planetarium is closed and the field trip is ruined, Ms. Frizzle saves the day! The Magic School Bus blasts off into outer space to explore the solar system! Ms. Frizzle gets separated from her group, and her class must travel through the planets and beyond to rescue her. Hop on the Magic School Bus for a ride in Theatreworks USA's new musical adaptations based on the original book series published by Scholastic.

Apparently, The Magic School Bus is getting classy. Miss Frizzle does no wrong.

The event is sponsored by Children's Hospital of the King's Daughters (CHKD) and Tucano's Brazilian Grill.
