From local live music to winter snow festivals, here's what's happening in Denver this weekend.

Friday, January 11

Ice Castles

When: Until Feb. 2
Where: Dillon Town Park

CommUnity Share Fest

When: January 11, 7 p.m.
Where: Denver Circus Collective

This creative community gathering returns for its fifth year to collect donations for the homeless. This event will feature 16 live musical performances. 

Denver International Sportsmen's Exposition

When: January 10-13
Where: Colorado Convention Center

Hunting and fishing are the focus of this convention for outdoor enthusiasts, which welcomes residents from Colorado and seven bordering states. Colorado Parks and Wildlife also hosts a youth fair aimed at educating and inspiring outdoorsy young people. 

Ullr Fest

When: January 9-12
Where: Breckenridge, CO

Wear your Viking hat to the 55th annual Ullr Fest and enjoy a parade down main street, a bonfire, and an ice plunge.

Winter Park Express Ski Train

When: January 11, 7 a.m.
Where: Denver Union Station

This historic train trip takes you directly to the base of Winter Park Resort. It also runs on Saturdays and Sundays through March 8. (Read more about the Winter Park Express.) 

Wintersköl in Aspen

When: January 10-13
Where: Aspen, CO

This four-day festival dates back to 1951 and will feature skiing and other mountain activities, film screenings, competitions, and more. 

Saturday, January 12

Snowga

When: Saturday mornings until Feb. 22
Where: Downtown Denver Rink at Skyline Park

Come ready to stretch on the ice at this seasonal event led by Yoga High.

Get Your Ears Swoll

When: January 12, 7:30 p.m.
Where: The People's Building

This new event space will host local independent musicians like I Hate it Here, Zealot, and The Far Stairs. Also, a $10 cover is requested.

Colorado Chamber Players Gala / 25th Anniversary Party

When: January 12, 7 p.m.
Where: Opus Two Hall

Enjoy French music along with French wine and appetizers during this gala event. 

Sunday, January 13

Colorado Bridal Show

When: January 13, 12 p.m.
Where: Hyatt Denver Tech Center

This annual boutique bridal show allows you to shop for bridal professionals, look for gowns, preview samples, and so much more! Plus, there will be plenty of delicious appetizers, French wine, and live music as you shop. What more could a future bride ask for?

Foxy and Shmoxy: Art Detectives

When: 10:30 and 11:30 a.m. until May 12
Where: Denver Art Museum

A new exhibition at the Denver Art Museum, guests will have the opportunity to solve mysteries with these foxes. Included with general admission.
