Friday, July 26

Buffalo Bill Days

When: July 25-28
Where: Golden, CO

This is one of the summers best celebration of the Old West and is a family favorite for many. Music, a car show, food, vendors, and so much more make this a fun-filled weekend, complete with a parade on Saturday at 10 a.m.

Underground Music Showcase

When: July 26-28
Where: South Broadway, 5th to Alameda Ave., Denver

One of Colorado’s biggest music festivals UMS is back for the 19th year. Over 200 artists will perform in this three-day event that takes over South Broadway. Local talent and international indie headliners will be around all weekend with four outdoor stages and over 20 indoor venues.

Where: Fiddler's Green Amphitheatre

The country music star will rock out at Fiddler's Green Amphitheatre, and he's bringing a few friends with him – Kane Brown, Carly Pearce, and Dee Jay Silver.

Untitled Final Fridays

When: July 26, 6-10 p.m.
Where: Denver Art Museum

Denver Art Museum kicks off its Untitled Final Fridays for 2019 this weekend. The monthly series has changing performances, tours, art-making activities, and much more presented by local artists. This weekend’s event even includes an interactive augmented reality (AR) game!

Union Station Free 5-Year Anniversary Concert with Strange Americans

When: July 26, 7-9 p.m.
Where: Terminal Bar Patio, Union Station

The Denver based band Strange Americans will perform their "no-frills rock and roll," right off their national tour. There will also be drinks, yard games, food specials, and more from Wibby Brewing.

Dive in Movie - Mary Poppins Returns

When: July 26, 7:30 p.m.
Where: Elitch Gardens

Mary Poppins Returns will be shown in the Island Kingdom Waterpark; the park closes at 6 p.m. Admission is free with a day or season pass.

Saturday, July 27

Urban Market

When: July 27-28
Where: Skyline Park

Denver’s recurring open-air marketplace is back this weekend with lots of local art, crafts, clothing, jewelry, furniture, antiques, food, and a daily concert that starts at noon.

7th Annual Cheesman Park Art Festival

When: July 27-28
Where: Cheesman Park

Artists descend on Cheesman Park for this annual event. More than 150 artisans from 22 states will set up and showcase their work, which includes handmade work from a wide range of mediums and inspirations, as well as different styles. Pieces will be available to purchase directly from the artists.

Colorado Dragon Boat Festival at Sloan’s Lake

When: July 27-28
Where: Sloan’s Lake

This two-day festival will celebrate the Year of the Pig and highlight the culture of Vietnam. There will be food, festivities, Asian American culture, food, traditional performance, and of course, the Dragon Boat racing. Known as the biggest Dragon Boat Festival in the country, this is a yearly favorite for a good reason.

Denver Summer Brew Fest Mile High Station

When: July 27, Daytime session: 12-3 p.m. | Evening session: 7-10 p.m. | VIP: 6-7 p.m.
Where: Mile High Station

This one-day beer festival has over 100 selections from 40 different breweries all in one place. There will be beer, cider, live music, and food trucks.

Tequila Summer Tasting Festival

When: July 27, 3-7 p.m.
Where: Blake Street Tavern

Blake Street Tavern is hosting this summer’s 2019 Denver Summer Tequila Tasting Festival. Sunshine, vendors, the tingle of tequila on your taste buds, food and drink specials, music, and the summer sun, what more could you want?

Harvey Park Summer Festival

When: July 27, 4-10 p.m.
Where: Harvey Park West Evans Ave., Denver

This is a free event hosted by Harvey Park Community Association. A big party to celebrate summer, you'll be able to enjoy live local music, food trucks, kids' booths, and fireworks. This is a low-waste event, so if you bring your own picnic – please use reusable or compostable dishware and containers.

Palisade Peach Nigori Release

When: July 27, 12-10 p.m.
Where: Colorado Sake Co.

It's that time of the year – Palisade Peaches are back! Colorado Sake Co. will be hosting a release party for the return of its Peaches & Cream sake. They'll only have one keg for this weekend, so come try it while it lasts.

Fairmount Cemetery Movie Night - Captain Marvel

When: July 27, movie begins at sunset
Where: Historic Fairmont Cemetery

Catch this special viewing of Captain Marvel in the historic cemetery. The movie will be shown on the Upper Ivy Terrace, and food trucks will be on hand with snacks to buy. It's encouraged that you bring in a blanket and chairs.

Sunnyside Yoga Festival

When: July 28, 8:30 a.m.-7 p.m.
Where: 725 West 39th Avenue, Denver

A festival to celebrate local business and wellness, this event will host a full day of yoga, music, and vendors. This is a family-friendly event, so all ages are welcome to get out and feel the love.

Charlie and The Chocolate Factory

When: July 28, 2 p.m.
Where: Buell Theatre

This is the very last chance Denver will have to catch the hit musical. Roald Dahl’s tale of the boy and his golden ticket features songs from the original film, as well as new music and score.
