Thomas and his friends are coming to the B&O Railroad Museum.
One of the most popular events for little ones is returning to Baltimore this spring. The B&O Railroad Museum will be hosting “Day Out With Thomas” on four weekends in May. The event features train rides led by Thomas the Tank Engine along with games, activities, character appearances, and a special Thomas and Friends merchandise. The popular event was canceled around the country during the pandemic and is returning with new health and safety precautions and reduced capacity.
A “Day Out With Thomas” is the perfect opportunity for Thomas-obsessed little ones to experience Thomas the Tank Engine up close. The highlight of the event is a ride on the B&O museum train with Thomas as the lead engine. After the ride, kids and parents can enjoy music by TK’s Music Party while wandering through the carnival. Kids can meet Thomas characters like Sir Topham Hatt and marvel at stilt walkers, jugglers, and other circus performers. Activities include carnival games with prizes, a bubble zone, Thomas and Friends Power Wheels, and inflatable photo booths. A pop-up shop will have all kinds of Thomas and Friends merchandise, including exclusive items you can only get at the event.

Tickets start at $26 and include a ride on the train and access to the Thomas and Friends carnival. There will also be a limited number of walk-up tickets for $20 that include carnival access but no train ride. Everyone aged 2 years and older are required to wear a mask and the museum will be following local health and social distancing guidelines. Tickets always sell out fast, so book your ride today!
