Tee up! Topgolf is coming to Colorado Springs later this year.

Topgolf has taken the nation by storm as a fun spot to hang out with friends, grab drinks, and hit a few balls. Colorado Springs will soon join in on the fun—the sports entertainment company is opening its third Colorado location right in town.

The company announced plans to open the location this summer and add more than 200 jobs to the area. The venue will be located at 165 Spectrum Loop, at the Polaris Pointe complex near the Air Force Academy, located at the new Powers Boulevard and I-25 interchange. They are taking over the planned Crush Golf location.

Topgolf Entertainment Group announced the new two-level venue in a press release on February 15. The venue will feature 74 climate-controlled outdoor hitting bays, delicious eats and top-shelf beverages, and year-round programming and music. The location will also include Topgolf's innovative technology that offers an interactive experience for visitors.

"Topgolf values the connections we have built throughout the state of Colorado, and we look forward to bringing another unique and entertaining experience to the community of Colorado Springs," said Topgolf Chief Executive Officer Dolf Berle in the statement. "We were thrilled to work with Polaris Pointe as we add this location to the Topgolf family of venues for all to safely enjoy."

Topgolf's current Colorado locations include Centennial and Thornton. The company has more than 60 locations across the globe.
