This summer, between now and August 17, you can watch films from the 1920s at Boulder's Chautauqua Auditorium.
Each Wednesday (with the exception of the final screening) between now and August 17, the Chautauqua Auditorium will be giving movie fans the chance to see where the cinema and celebrity status started: the 1920s. Considered to be the "Golden Age of Cinema," movie goers will enjoy being reacquainted with Hollywood's classic actors and films. For only $12, you'll have the opportunity to journey back to the 1920s and experience the era of silent films. Like when the films were first shown to audiences back then, the films will be accompanied by a live soundtrack provided by pianist Hank Troy and the Mont Alto Motion Picture Orchestra. Harold Lloyd was a genius when it came to comedy, and he was one of the most influential filmmakers of early cinema.
