Cheers! Busch Beer wants to soften the blow of those canceled and postponed wedding plans due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Months of saving money, planning, stress, and anxiety go into making a wedding happen, and having something derail that dreamed of the perfect day can be a nightmare for any engaged couple. With venues closed, caters shut down, and social distancing orders in place, brides-to-be and anxious grooms across the globe are scrambling to figure out how to say "I Do" from a distance or make the heartbreaking choice to delay their nuptials.

Busch Beer feels for those couples and wants to try and lift their spirits with a bit of free beer. The company announced a sweepstake that will give 250 engaged couples who had their wedding plans changed due to the pandemic a free year of brews. Winners will be given a $300 gift card, the amount needed to purchase two cases of Busch brand beers each month for a year.

Couples who want to throw in for a chance for a year of free booze need to post a picture of themselves on social media with the hashtags #Sweepstakes and #BuschWeddingGift, and a caption sharing how they will be changing plans. There's also an option for friends of couples to enter to win some beer swag using the hashtags #Sweepstakes and #MyFriendsWedding.

“Whether couples ran to city hall to say ‘I do’ or are postponing until another time when they can gather friends and family, this small consolation will allow them to focus on what really matters — each other — and cheers all year long,” the company said in a news release.

"Busch still wanted to offer these couples a chance for a wedding gift and a reason to celebrate their love regardless of our unprecedented situation." Daniel Blake, company VP.

Interested couples have until May 1, 2020, to post their pictures and stories, and there have been thousands of pictures shared already! Check out a few of our favorites so far:

Now THAT'S commitment! We love the pictures and, of course, the idea of free booze.

Do you know any couples who should enter this contest? What other wedding giveaways have you seen due to the coronavirus pandemic? Give us the details in the comments, and cheers to all the happy couples out there!
