The Denver Center for the Performing Arts recently announced a lottery for a limited number of seats at each performance of Wicked.

If you were hoping to drop into the Land of Oz and see Wicked when it returns to The Buell Theatre this month, well, you're in luck! The Denver Center for the Performing Arts (DCPA) has announced a ticket lottery for each performance of the Broadway hit, which will return to Denver for five weeks only, May 8 to June 9.

"Two and one-half hours prior to each performance, people who present themselves at The Buell Theatre box office will have their names placed in a lottery drum; each person will print their name and the number of tickets (1 or 2) they wish to purchase on a card that is provided," explains the DCPA in a statement.

Then, 30 minutes later, names will be drawn for a limited number of orchestra seats ($25), cash only.

It's important to note that this lottery is in-person only and restricted to two tickets per person. Lottery participants need to present a valid photo ID when submitting an entry, and, if picked, when purchasing the $25 tickets. Tickets are subject to availability.

The DCPA has booked other Broadway favorites for the 2019-20 season, including Hamilton, Mean Girls, The Lion King, RENT, and more! You can check out the full list of Broadway shows coming to Denver here.
