Is this World War II-era airplane hangar haunted? Only one way to find out ...

For folks in the Denver area, we've found a spooky event that celebrates all things paranormal (and airplanes). Wings Over the Rockies Air & Space Museum is holding its Haunted Hangar: A Paranormal Experience event, which dives into the spooky history of the hangar—the museum is housed inside a World War II-era airplane hangar!

The night includes a haunted history of the hangar, a magic show from internationally award-winning magician Christopher Manos, eyewitness stories from the staff, and much more. The event is for those ages 12 years and older.

When: October 23-24, 30-31

Price: $65/$45

All evenings will have a 5:30 p.m. event, which includes dinner and costs $65 a ticket, and a 9 p.m. show which includes drinks and snacks and costs $45 per ticket. Tickets can be purchased online through the museum website. Please keep in mind that COVID-19 precautions and social distancing guidelines will be in place. 

Located on the site of the former Lowry Air Force Base, the hangar that the museum is built in was constructed in 1937, the original site of the U.S Air Force Academy. Lowry Air Force Base was closed in 1994 and the museum was founded that same year. Air Force, Navy, and civilian aircraft are on display inside, and the museum welcomes over 160,000 visitors every year.
