From the oceanfront to the Norva, here are all the summer concerts coming to Hampton Roads!

Summer is not complete unless you attend at least one music festival -- We've compiled a running list of all the summer music festivals we could find in Hampton Roads. (You're welcome.)

Virginia Beach 

Something in the Water | Oceanfront | April 26, 28, and 29

Pharrell Williams returns home for three days to give the locals a concert they won't forget. Occurring during the middle of College Week, Pharrell will perform his most famous hits such as Happy, along with a lineup of other famous celebs. The event has grown so popular that he is encouraging locals to open up their homes to Airbnb. For more information, check out the event here! The concert is currently sold out but you can check back for passes later.

Beach Music Cruise-In Weekend | On the Beach | May 10-12

This jam-packed blast to the past combines bands along the oceanfront with cars along the street. Salute to the "good ol' days" with fun music, cars, antiques, and more. There will be three days of a car show and concerts. Admission to the event is free. For more information, check out the event here!

Virginia Beach Patriotic Festival | 5th Street Oceanfront | May 31 and June 1-2

The patriotic festival celebrates the brave men and women who protect our country and their families. There will be concerts, museum tours, military expos, and military displays. Military bands from every branch will be performing, including Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, and Coast Guard. Salute them and their music as they entertain you with their catchy melodies. Latin Festival | On the Beach at 24th Street | June 21-22

The Latin Festival mixes together good food, family participation, and first-rate Latin music to give you two great days of fun, including live performances of salsa, merengue, and jazz. The Mambo Room Zumba Marathon will be occurring from 8 to 10 a.m. on June 22 at 17th Street. Symphony by the Sea | Virginia Beach Oceanfront 31st Street | Select Thursdays | July 11-September 5

See performances by Symphonicity and The Virginia Symphony Orchestra! Admission to the event is free! For more information, check out the event here

American Music Festival | 5th, 17th, 22nd, and 31st Street | August 30-September 1

Enjoy the musical sounds of rock, jazz, country, R&B, as big-name bands entertain locals for three days in the big outdoors. Tickets are selling for $20-$250 each -- get them here! For more information, check out the event here!

Norfolk

Norfolk Latino Music Festival | Town Point Park | July 27

Get ready for a fun day and Latin festivities. The Norfolk Latino Music Festival combines live explosive music, Latin food, dance lessons, face painting, crafts, soccer, bi-lingual story time, and more. Admission is free and open to the public. For more information, check out the event here

Norfolk Waterfront Jazz Festival | Town Point Park | August 23 and 24

Enjoy two evenings of entertaining and soulful jazz music. The event will feature a selection of seating choices, food and drink, merchandise for purchase, and more. The lineup will include artists such as Sax to the Max and Lindsey Webster. Tickets range from $30-$200 -- get them here! For more information, check out the event here!

Portsmouth

Umoja Festival | Portsmouth Pavilion and Festival Park | May 24-26

Celebrate equality at Portsmouth’s Annual African-American Culture and Heritage Festival live music performances (jazz, reggae, gospel, and rhythm and blues), children's crafts, and a gospel jubilee. Admission to the event is free! For more information, check out the event here!

Seawall Music Festival | Downtown Portsmouth | June 7 and 8

Enjoy an evening of local and regional bands, children's activities, and food vendors. Saturday night there will be fireworks at the Norfolk Harbor. Admission to the event is free! For more information, check out the event here!

Hampton

Hampton Jazz Festival | Hampton Coliseum | June 25-30

The City of Hampton and Hampton University have teamed up to give you a jazz concert you won't forget. The annual event combines blues, soul, pop, and jazz performers.
