Originally scheduled for late March, the Bassmaster Classic has been moved to this weekend, June 11–13.

The 2021 Academy Sports + Outdoors Bassmaster Classic is heading to Fort Worth, Texas, this weekend. And we've put together this handy guide for everything you need to know about the big event!

As with most events as of late, the Classic was pushed back a few months due to "ongoing public health emergency and associated limits on large gatherings," per B.A.S.S. The Outdoors Bassmaster Classic will be held this weekend, June 11–13.

"It’s our hope that this delay will allow us to alleviate many of the challenges — including any potential capacity restrictions and travel complications — related to hosting both the tournament and Outdoors Expo in the current pandemic environment," said B.A.S.S. CEO Bruce Akin when the postponement of the event was first announced. "We look forward to seeing thousands of fans, along with our partners and industry friends, at the 51st Bassmaster Classic."

For more than 50 years, the Bassmaster Classic has been considered the "premier tournament in sportfishing," with record-breaking crowds over the years.
