Check out this week's pets up for adoption.

As we descend upon the warmer months, we want to spend more time outdoors -- and what better way to do that than by adopting an animal in need? We have compiled a list of the cutest pets available.

Check out these adorable options this week!

Hope for Life Rescue, Inc.

Hope for Life Rescue, Inc., is an amazing nonprofit shelter located at 610 Jack Rabbit Rd, Ste 3., Virginia Beach, Virginia. You can check them out on their website and the animals for adoption on their Facebook Page!

Sophie, 10, and Lady, 12 (Bonded Pair)

Sophie and Lady are a bonded pair of senior girls that are just as sweet as they can be. If you are hesitant about taking home a senior pet, please don't be! They deserve as much love as the young ones. Sophie is a Newfoundland Mix, and Lady is a dachshund, and together they're a loveable pair that you just won't be able to get enough of. These sweet ladies love to explore and will settle right in when you take them with you -- just let them do their thang.

Both ladies get along with cats, dogs, and really, everyone!

Bullet, 7

Bullet (Bu-ley) has been at the facility since 2017 (sadly) and has a personality that you cannot miss -- she's quite the diva because she follows you all over the place (must always be with the humans) and gives love nibbles. This sweet girl loves dogs and wants to be as playful as she can, so don't mind the noise while she's running around. Check her out here!

Virginia Beach SPCA (VBSPCA)

The Virginia Beach SPCA is one of the local government-run shelters in the Hampton Roads area and can be found at 3040 Holland Rd. Virginia Beach, VA 23453. Check them out on their website, Facebook, and Instagram!

Chase, 1

Those ears! Chase is a young, energetic German Shepherd mix, who lived his previous life on a chain, so he would require some obedience training. The VBSPCA is asking that someone who is familiar with the German Shepherd breed consider him for their home. He is a sensitive boy, who does not like to be touched in certain places and is not recommended with other small animals, like cats. Check him out here!

Hunny, 8

Courtesy of the VBSPCA

Hunny was previously adopted from the Virginia Beach SPCA years ago, but her owner fell ill and can no longer take care of her. She is a loveable ball of fluff that will just cuddle right up to you. Be sure to take things slow with this girl as she is known to be a little shy when she first gets to know you. But she will open right up once she's comfortable. Check her out here!

Chesapeake Animal Services

Chesapeake Animal Services is a new local shelter located at 2100 S. Military Hwy, Chesapeake, VA 23320. You can check them out on their website, Facebook, and Instagram

Mindy, 4

Mindy is a beautiful hound mix who is a playful and loveable little girl. She is smart and already knows many tricks, so she will adjust really well to your home and won't require any obedience training. She is also housebroken, so no worries there. You can find her on their website and Facebook!

Mittens, 3

This beautiful girl is waiting for her forever home! She has gorgeous stripes and just looks like a laid-back cat. You can find her here!

Norfolk SPCA

The Norfolk SPCA is the local shelter to the Norfolk area and can be found at 916 Ballentine Boulevard, Norfolk, Virginia 23504 -- check them out on their website and Facebook!

Zoey, 1

Zoey is an adorable hound mix who is as sweet as can be. She will need an adjustment period once she begins to settle into your home, so please be patient with her. Zoey would do best in a home with older kids and is great with other cats and dogs! You don't have to worry too much about Miss Zoey as she is potty-trained and won't make a mess in your home! You can check her out here and on Facebook!

Bagheera, 2

Just look how gorgeous this girl is! Her yellow eyes are just mesmerizing and begging for her forever home! Check her out here!
