WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) - Wichita police said the driver of the vehicle may have been unresponsive due to a medical emergency at the time of the crash.

No one else at the scene was injured.

One person was critically hurt after a car crashed into a west Wichita restaurant Saturday afternoon.

Sedgwick County dispatch confirmed emergency crews were dispatched around 3:30 p.m. to the McAlister’s Deli on Maple and Ridge, where a car had crashed into the building, causing a partial collapse.

Dispatch said one person was critically hurt.
