Police say the crash happened at NE Chouteau Trafficway and NE Russell Road.


Kansas City, Missouri, police say one motorcycle driver is dead after a crash just after midnight Saturday.

Police say an orange Harley Davidson motorcycle was traveling northbound on Chouteau Trafficway.

Police say just north of NE Russell Road, the Harley ran off the road, traveling up and over the curb and hitting a metal light pole.

The motorcyclist was ejected off the bike and was pronounced dead at the scene.

This is the ninth traffic fatality in KCMO this year.
