He is charged with attempted homicide, aggravated assault, recklessly endangering another person and firearm violations for a May 10 incident in downtown Harrisburg where a woman was shot. He was denied bail in that case. Rhodes also is facing robbery charges for a June 4 incident in Dauphin County. He was charged with six counts of robbery in that case, and bail was set at $500,000. Daniels and Rhodes are accused of robbing the JK Mart Grocery Store & Smoke Shop at 846 Lancaster Ave. at around 8:25 a.m. Tuesday. Police said one of the men had a firearm and threatened the store clerk. Columbia police Chief Jack Brommer said Rhodes was the gunman, and the two stole sunglasses, watches, tobacco, vape and THC products from the store. Brommer said he did not know how much cash they took. Borough police identified Daniels and Rhodes in collaboration with the Harrisburg Police Bureau and the U.S. Marshals Service. Brommer said the Lancaster County Special Emergency Response Team and West Hempfield Township police also helped with the search.
