Virginia Beach Grilled Cheese Festival | The Shack | Saturday–Sunday

The Shack is hosting their first-ever grilled cheese festival. Need we say more? Well, yes, because there will be plenty of indulgences, including axe-throwing, a giant grilled cheese-eating contest, a cheese fountain, live music, and much more. The Mystical Arts of Tibet | The American Theater | Sunday

The Tibetan monks of Drepung Loseling Monastery return to Hampton Roads to spread their talent and creative works through creating a sand painting. The event is free and open to the public. If you're interested, head on over to their website!

William Shakespeare's Twelfth Night | SPARC | Friday-Saturday

Twelfth Night combines hilarity with gender-bending for a night of comedy, belly aches, and fabulous entertainment. The play follows Viola who disguises herself as a page boy for the Duke and then ends up in a love triangle. This work of genius covers topics like self-identity, gender conformity and equality, and troubled relationships. Tickets are $10 each. Learn more here!

Williamsburg

Abby's Art | Bassett Hall | Saturday

Get ready for a peek into history! You will tour the Rockefellers' Bassett Hall and cottage, as well as get a chance to make your own folk art reminiscent of what you'll see throughout the homes. The event is included with admission to Colonial Williamsburg!
