Officers responded to Wendy’s March 1 for a report of an employee causing a disturbance and attacking a co-worker after she was told to leave for the day for refusing to work her assigned job.

In the presence of officers, the Garfield Heights girl, 16, sprayed mace at the co-worker. She was arrested for disorderly conduct and assault and brought to the station to be released to her mother.

A woman reported Feb. 25 that she woke up to her ex-boyfriend initiating sex with her after he entered her home by using a garage and alarm code, she had given him while they were dating.

She said she agreed to have sex with him, and he then left the home.

She decided that she did not want to pursue charges and said that she would change her codes.

Officers contacted the man advised him that he was being banned from the property.

A man said Feb. 26 that two medics from a transport company opened and closed a screen door on his back multiple times when they were at his home the previous day to take him to a hospital.

Officers found no evidence to support his claims and learned that once taken to the hospital, the man, known for his aggressive behavior, had to be restrained and kept there for a psychiatric evaluation.

A woman came to the station Feb. 25 reporting that her estranged husband had placed a tracking device on her vehicle during a recent custody exchange.

She had received an alert on her phone advising her that the air tag was on the vehicle, and it was assigned her husband’s name. She then found it on the vehicle’s frame.

The air tag was turned over to police and the incident was documented.

CVS management reported Feb. 26 that a woman had stolen two bottle of laundry detergent.

Responding officers located the suspect as the bus stop in front of the business and cited her for theft and issued her trespass warning.

She was with a man, and it discovered that he was in violation of protection order with the woman being the protected person. The East Cleveland man, 66, was uncooperative and subsequently arrested for violating the protection order and resisting arrest.

A woman threatened the staff at the Simple Sexy Boutique Feb. 26 because she was upset that she could not return an item.

The staff said that she wanted to return an item from last May because she said it was damaged and she became upset when advised of the seven-day return policy.

Before leaving with her two-year-old child, the woman threatened to assault the employee if she saw her outside the store.

Officers contacted the suspect and advised her that she was banned from the business.

Officers responded to the area in front of Five Points Bar & Grille at 5:10 a.m. Feb. 27 for a report of a man passed out at the wheel of his vehicle.

The Euclid man, 23, was asleep. He subsequently failed sobriety tests and was arrested for OVI.

The staff at the county library said Feb. 28 that a man impersonating a postal carrier came in and attempted to collect their outgoing mail.

Upon investigation, the post office confirmed that the plain-clothed man was an employee.

A Cleveland woman, 32, was arrested for OVI after she crashed her car into a utility pole shortly before 3 a.m. March 1.

She was furloughed at Hillcrest Hospital, where she was taken with injuries.

a suspected drunk driver had his vehicle pulled over for weaving near Allendale Drive around 2:30 a.m. March 2.

The Beachwood man, 25, failed sobriety tests and was arrested OVI. He was also charged with having a weapon while intoxicated after officers found a loaded gun inside the car.

An unspecified report of criminal mischief at the Dorchester apartments was taken March 2.

Officers are awaiting surveillance video before proceeding with an investigation.
