Two Florida Walgreens employees were shot and their shooter was found dead by police in the parking lot of the Port Orange store from a self-inflicted gunshot May 7.

The condition of the employees who were shot was not released during a press conference by Lt. Mike Wallace, Port Orange Police Department spokesman.

Police responded quickly to the shooting call after 5 p.m. The store is just off Interstate 95 in one of the highest-traffic areas of the city.

Wallace said the shooter was found dead in the parking lot by responding officers. No one else was injured.
