Colorado retailers sold almost $1 billion worth of recreational marijuana in 2017, according to data recently released by the Colorado Department of Revenue. Below is a list of the top 15 counties with the highest recreational marijuana sales totals from January through October.
- Denver $289.2 million
- Arapahoe $ 85.5 million
- Boulder County $ 61.5 million
- Adams $ 45.1 million
- Larimer $ 44.5 million
- Jefferson $ 40.2 million
- Las Animas $ 31.0 million
- Pueblo County $ 30.0 million
- Weld $ 24.0 million
- Summit $ 17.8 million
- La Plata $ 17.6 million
- Garfield $ 16.6 million
- Montezuma $ 14.5 million
- Eagle $ 10.9 million
- Pitkin $ 9.2 million
