The 2025 NFL draft is just around the corner, and the Chicago Bears are gearing up to welcome some new additions to the roster with their seven draft picks.

The Bears were quite busy in free agency shoring up the offensive and defensive lines with some big-name veterans, which allows them more flexibility with the 10th overall pick. And while there are some top prospects Chicago likely has their eye on, that doesn't guarantee they'll fall to them in the first round.

In a new mock draft from CBS Sports' Tom Fornelli , the board doesn't exactly fall the way the Bears might like it. Offensive linemen Will Campbell and Armand Membou, as well as running back Ashton Jeanty, are off the board at this point. While tight end Tyler Warren is available, Fornelli has Chicago electing to further address the defensive trenches with Georgia edge rusher Jalon Walker at No. 10.

There have been a lot of mocks with the Bears taking Ashton Jeanty or even a different RB here at 10 if Jeanty is gone. I can see Jeanty. I don't see another RB, particularly when there are still question marks in the pass rush that need to be addressed.

Walker isn't necessarily a scheme fit, as he projects more as a 3-4 outside linebacker than 4-3 defensive end, there's no denying he'd be a great addition to a Bears pass rush that needs to get after the quarterback more. Montez Sweat remains their prime option off the edge, and Chicago signed Dayo Odeyingbo in free agency, but Walker would give them another stud pass rusher.
