The Annapolis Maritime Museum

Explore the maritime history of Annapolis with the Annapolis Maritime Museum, where you can view an 850-gallon aquarium, learn all about oyster harvesting and packing, tour the remote shoal lighthouse, and board the Miss Lonesome. Or, just relax and enjoy the view of one of the only public beaches in the city!

The Mitchell Gallery

Admire famous artworks that have stunned the world at the Mitchell Gallery! Until 2019, you can peruse the works of Albrecht Durer, illustrations from children's books over the last 100 years, 13th-18th century illuminated manuscripts, and other pieces from local artists.

Historic London Town and Gardens

Resting outside of Annapolis is Historic London Town and Gardens! You can wander around the historic London Town area that began as Anne Arundel County's seat in the 1600s, but didn't last very long. There's the Carpenter's Shop, the William Brown House, and the Lord Mayor's Tenement for you to visit. Or stop and smell the plants and flowers at their variety of gardens!
