Matapeake Park Dog Beach
Address: 1112 Romancoke Rd, Stevensville, MD 21666
If your dog likes to explore, this beach is a must. A quick hike along the park's trail leads directly to the dog beach on the other side of the park. From there, Fido can go off leash to roam, play fetch, and paddle around the water. There are also plenty of trails to explore if your dog needs a little more exercise. We recommend going early in the morning to beat the crowds and have the beach all to yourself.

Terrapin Nature Park
Address: 191 Log Canoe Circle, Stevensville, MD 21666
This nature park is a welcome refuge outside the bustle of the city. Take a stroll along the 270-acre park and a side-trail will bring you over to the park's beach. Dogs have to be kept on-leash, but the gorgeous views of the Chesapeake Bay will more than make up for it. And if your dog's on the quiet side, they're sure to appreciate the peaceful environment.

Downs Memorial Park Dog Beach
Address: 8311 John Downs Loop, Pasadena, MD 21122
This little beach borders the Chesapeake Bay and offers space for dogs of all varieties to socialize and have fun. The smaller size is perfect for dogs who are new to swimming, but experienced dogs will have a great time chilling in the water. Afterward, you can take a jaunt through the park's five-mile-long trail. It's a relaxing way to enjoy the weather, and your dog might even make a new friend! It cost $6 to park, but that's a small price to pay for a lovely day at the beach.
