DULUTH, Minn. — Early Thursday morning, the multiple policing agencies were gathered to safety execute a high risk search warrant and arrested 4 people.

This happened approximately around 3:45 a.m. on the 100 block of East 3rd Street. Members of DPD’s Tactical Response Team, DPD’s Investigation and Patrol Division, the St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office, Lake Superior Violent Offender Task Force, and the Superior Police Department all help aid in the investigation.

Inside, they detained 5 individuals who were selling controlled substances without incident.

During the execution of the search warrant, police found two hand guns along side sale amounts of cocaine, oxycotin, methamphetamine, and fentanyl.

A 29-year-old resident is currently being lodged in St. Louis County Jail for pending charges of Aggregated 1st Degree Sale and two counts of Felon in Possession of a Firearm.

A 39-year-old, 25-year-old, and a 28-year-old are also in jail pending charges of 1st Degree Sale.
