Don't be a hermit -- here are five spots in Denver where you can legally consume marijuana.

While recreational marijuana has been legal in Colorado for years, Denver has a long way to go before it becomes the next Amsterdam. Cannabis-friendly lounges and other establishments allowing the consumption of marijuana are few and far between, and only one license has been issued so far by Denver's Cannabis Consumption Establishment. Still, several businesses have found ways to host pot smokers without breaking the law. 

The Coffee Joint

This coffeehouse also happens to be Denver's first licensed business to allow social consumption. You won't be able to spark up a joint as the name implies, but you can vape, dab, or consume edibles. What's more, you can get snacks and beverages along with rolling papers, vaporizers, and more. The Coffee Joint is not a dispensary, so you'll need to bring your own cannabis. 

Tetra 9 Lounge

Located in the heart of RiNo, Tetra 9 is a members-only club offering monthly, weekly, and daily memberships. No walk-ins are allowed, so you'll need to pre-register online. A monthly membership will set you back $50, but you can enjoy a number of events such as live music and 420-related classes in addition to using their vaporizers and dab bar. 

Spectra Art Space

This art gallery on South Broadway hosts all kinds of events, from holiday parties to art showcases and DIY classes. The gallery also allows you to consume cannabis in their private backyard when you attend an event. 

iBake Denver

This private club has membership options from $12/month, with an added $3 for each day you use the space. Alternatively, you can purchase a $65/month membership that allows free daily entry. Like other social lounges, iBake doesn't sell marijuana, so you'll need to bring your own. But they do provide plenty of options for smoking, from bongs to dab rings.

Studio420

This glassware and tobacco shop doubles as a members-only club. Membership options start at $10/month with $4.20 daily entry. The club also runs a mobile cannabis tour bus.
