Illinois lands 5 spots on list of country's Top 100 Romantic Restaurants

CHICAGO - Looking to set up your Valentine's Day plans? You don't have to go far to find a romantic night out.

Online reservation platform OpenTable compiled a list of the Top 100 Romantic Restaurants in the country and five Chicagoland spots made the cut.

California had the most total restaurants on the list with 11.

OpenTable compiled their most romantic restaurant list by analyzing over 10 million reviews from Dec. 1, 2023 to Nov. 30 of last year.

The National Retail Federation predicted consumers will spend a record $27.5 billion on Valentine's Day this year. Nearly $2 billion more than last year.
