Cinco de Mayo celebrates the Mexican army's unexpected victory over Napoleon III's forces on May 5, 1862 (the Battle of Puebla). Join your fellow music lovers for this amazing Cinco de Mayo show at Red Rocks! While there will be plenty of music, this show is less of a concert and more of a spectacular! If you've never seen Dada Life live, you're in for a treat with insane stunts and mind blowing visual effects. Joining the group will be Slander, Pegboard Nerds, Basscrooks and Kill Paris. 30th Annual Cinco de Mayo Festival Denver May 6 - 7 • 10 a.m. • Civic Center Park
This annual event is put on by the Santa Fe. Drive Redevelopment Corporation that brings together people in the community with art, food, and tons of Cinco de Mayo celebrating! This weekend kicks off with a colorful parade jam packed with dancing, music and costumes. The parade starts at Colfax and Welton at 10 a.m. on Saturday, and ends at Civic Center Park at the actual festival. Taking place all over Fort Collins, join the fiesta for the Northern Colorado Cinco de Mayo Festival. Taking place over two days, enjoy yourself at various activities like the Beer and Margarita Garden (must be 21+ to participate...obviously), or watching the Quetzalcoatl Dance group at Old Town Square.
