6 great small gifts to give this season!
When it comes to holiday gifts, there's the main event, and then there are stocking stuffers. These smaller treats and trinkets can be fun, tasty, and useful. Let's take a look at some stocking stuffer ideas that you know won't go to waste!
Tissue Packs
Autumn and winter bring about the cold and flu season. With all of that going around, it's always great to stay prepared. Even if you don't get sick, the colder temps are sure to cause some sniffles. It's always convenient to have a tissue pack in your purse or pocket! I'm always grateful to have tissues around, and your giftee will be too.
Hand Sanitizer
A mini hand sanitizer is another excellent small item that will fit in a stocking. We mentioned the heightened spread of germs, and sanitizer will help kill those germs. The gift of good health is priceless!
Uncaffineated Tea Packets
Tea is one of the most soothing things to consume when you're sick, especially with a little added honey. Tea can also be very hydrating, which is great when you have a cold. Throw a few tea packets in the stockings so that your giftee is prepared with a little bit of comfort in case they do get sick. If they're lucky enough to stay healthy, it's still quite lovely to enjoy a cup of tea.
Throat Lozenges
Like tea, these are wonderful for soothing sore throats and should be easy to slip into a stocking. Honey-based or menthol-infused drops are especially effective here.
Saline Nasal Spray
A saline nasal spray will help someone experiencing congestion breathe a sigh of relief, at least for a little while. These sprays work to thin mucus in the nose in order to decrease those uncomfortable symptoms of congestion, which are never fun. This stocking stuffer will be great for someone to have on hand when they start to get a little stuffed up.
Chocolate
Okay, this one isn't exactly practical, but you can't stuff a stocking properly without at least some holiday chocolate. If nothing else, it's good for the soul, and that's always welcomed! Just be sure to clarify that chocolate is not a treatment option.
