Put these on your bucket lists.

Colorado is full of striking, natural scenery and located in and around that striking scenery are some truly incredible music venues. Visit all of them, you won't regret it.

Duh.

One of, if not the most, iconic music venues in the United States, Red Rocks combines striking natural beauty with great acoustics. Plus, it's big enough that when the crowd really gets rowdy, you swear you're going to cause an earthquake.

Chautauqua Auditorium - Boulder

The Chautauqua Auditorium combines stunning views with being indoors. There's no better combination than that. You can go to a concert during the winter and still stay warm!

The Belly Up - Aspen

Aspen's premier music venue hosts surprisingly famous acts in a surprisingly intimate setting. Getting to Aspen, and staying there, can be costly and annoying, sure, but it's all worth it in the end. Put it this way: The Belly Up is so cozy you can order a drink during a show without feeling like you're missing any of it.

Mishawaka Amphitheatre - Bellvue

Located just more than a half hour outside Fort Collins on Highway 14, the Mishawaka has mountains AND a river next to it. I doubt I need to say anything more to convince you.

Dillon Amphitheater - Dillon

Look, most of these are going to be outdoor amphitheaters located somewhere scenic in the mountains. It's Colorado. That's just how this is going to work.

Yup. Another one. Close to the previous one. Still gotta see it, though. They're all spectacular.

Fred Shellman Memorial Stage - Telluride

Fred Shellman Memorial Stage in Telluride Town Park is the stage where the headliners at the Telluride Blues Festival, Telluride Bluegrass Festival, etc. go to give throngs of camping hippies what they paid to see. It's glorious.

Sam Klomhaus
Sam is really cool and you should be friends with him. He can't believe they let him write his own bio either! When Sam isn’t writing words, he’s usually reading books, playing sports, skiing, camping and rafting. Just kidding, usually he’s daydreaming. He lives in the woods.
