From the top of the panhandle all the way down to the Keys, there is no shortage of unique attractions in Florida . Over the years, we’ve featured many of them, but of course, we have our favorites. These are the one-of-a-kind treasures that we simply can’t get enough of. Check out our picks of seven hidden gems in Florida that we love visiting again and again.

1. De León Springs State Park, De León Springs

If I could find a place that combines two things that I love - nature and food - then I’ve hit the jackpot! That’s exactly what you’ll discover at De León Springs State Park . Not only does the park boast serene natural springs, lush subtropical forests, and scenic hiking trails, but there is also a restaurant here ( Old Sugar Mill Pancake House ) where you can make your own pancakes. How cool is that! And to top it off, it’s all-you-can-eat. So, it’s no wonder that this hidden gem in Florida will always be on our list.

2. Coral Castle, Homestead

I believe that we humans are capable of doing extraordinary things. Just look at what we’ve created since the beginning of time. But there are certain things that have left me baffled and one of them is located in Homestead. Completed in 1951 by Edward Leedskalnin, Coral Castle has quite the mystery surrounding it. First of all, Leedskalnin hand-carved over 1,100 tons of coral at night using a process that has remained hidden. The result is this mysterious hidden gem that we love to admire over and over again.

3. Crab Island, Destin

To date, everyone that I know (including myself) who has been to Crab Island in Destin has raved about it. Rightfully so, because it’s one of the most unique places on the Emerald Coast. Though the name might infer that this haven is an island oasis, it’s not. It’s actually a sandbar near the Destin Bridge. But what makes it stand out is that it’s only accessible by boat, kayak, or you can rent this tiki bar for a unique experience . Plus, the shallow, calm emerald waters make this oasis great for swimming and snorkeling. Locals and visitors alike can’t get enough of this paradise.

4. Bok Tower Gardens, Lake Wales

It’s no secret that the Bok Tower Gardens is one of our favorite hidden gems in Florida. Can you blame us? Surrounded by tropical plants, large oak trees, pretty blooms, water features, and more, this tranquil garden is breathtakingly beautiful. The crown jewel of the gardens is the 205-foot-tall singing tower with Carillon bells that play melodious sounds throughout the day. It’s truly a unique creation.

5. Dry Tortugas National Park, Key West

I could name several reasons to head towards Key West, but by far one of the best is seeing Dry Tortugas National Park . There are so many hidden gems here including seven islands with the most beautiful, crystal-clear beaches, plus a massive, protected coral reef, unique tropical birds and sea turtles, as well as historical sites. Because it is only accessible by boat or seaplane, this remote, treasure is one of the least visited parks in the National Parks Service network. This means it’s truly one of our most treasured hidden gems and we don’t mind keeping it to ourselves.

6. Naples Pier, Naples

It’s hard not to fall in love with the charming town of Naples, Florida. From its sugary sandy beaches to its world-class resorts , high-end stores, golf courses, and arts and culture, they’ve got it all in this ritzy seaside town. But what I love most about Naples is that you can still enjoy the simple things in life here, like watching the most stunning sunsets from the Naples Pier . It’s one of those free experiences in Florida that I will never forget.

7. Venetian Pool, Coral Gables

Crystal-clear spring waters, grottos, waterfalls laced with tropical flowers and gorgeous architecture are what you’ll find at the Venetian Pool in Coral Gables . When you’re here, you’ll believe that you’ve been transported across the seas to an exotic location. This emerald lagoon will leave you mesmerized in a way that you can’t even imagine. You too will want to visit again and again.
