This three-bedroom, three-bathroom house with elements of Gothic and Tudor Revival styles is in Lincoln Terrace, a few blocks from the Oklahoma State Capitol. Several parks are within walking distance, and the University of Oklahoma Medical Center and a public elementary school are less than five minutes away by car. Florence’s Restaurant, a James Beard Foundation-nominated soul food restaurant, is less than a mile away.

Downtown and the city’s Boathouse District are 10 minutes away by car. The main campus of the University of Oklahoma, in Norman, is half an hour away.

Indoors: Steps lead from the street to a brick-walled front porch with an arched door. It opens to a foyer with black-and-white checkerboard floors. From there, a second door opens to the living room, with original hardwood floors and a fireplace surround made of Arts & Crafts-style tiles. A tall arched window faces the front yard and an arched doorway takes you into the formal dining room.

French doors open from the dining room to a home office with access to a patio. Off the other side of the dining room are a kitchen and breakfast nook, with original built-in cabinets and appliances that include a six-burner Bertazzonni range. The kitchen has penny tile floors, and between the dining room and breakfast nook is an original stained glass window.

The primary bedroom is on this level. Its walls are painted pale yellow and it has doors that open to the backyard. Next door is a bathroom with a console sink with chrome legs and a walk-in shower.

Stairs with a wrought-iron railing rise from the living room to the second floor. The other two bedrooms are here, each large enough to hold a king-size bed. One has its own fireplace and both have large closets. A Juliet balcony off the second-floor hallway overlooks the living room. There are two full bathrooms on this level.
