WICHITA FALLS, Texas (KAUZ) - Good evening Texoma! It’s a really nice day with temperatures getting into the mid-70s across Texoma along with mostly sunny skies across the region. Heading into the overnight hours, temperatures will drop into the mid-40s for our low temperatures. With that being said, tomorrow starts off cool, but not too bad. Temperatures will once again get into the mid-70s. I also expect us to see a couple storms tomorrow afternoon. A branch of storms should come together around noon and sweep along the river throughout the afternoon tomorrow. I don’t expect much besides some brief downpours and maybe a couple claps of thunder. Storms are possible again on Tuesday morning, and some of these could have some extra punch, but it’s still too early to really know. However, what’s for certain is our risk for fire weather on Tuesday as very dry and very wind conditions settle in. Wind gusts should exceed 30+ MPH and will make for some pretty serious fire weather conditions.
