  Palmer Park: [gallery size="large" ids="1930,1931"] This easy to moderate Colorado Springs day hike is placed in the middle of a 737-acre wildlife preserve. You can hike or bike on a mesa that overlooks the city. There is also an off-leash section of the park to let your fur baby run free!   Midland Trail: [gallery size="large" ids="1933,1934,1932"] Midland Trail is an easy 5-mile trail that runs from Manitou Springs to America the Beautiful Park in Colorado Springs. This Colorado Springs Day Hike is super easy, the trail is even on the street in some places which makes for great town exploring.   Fountain Creek Park: [gallery size="large" ids="1937,1936,1935"] This Colorado Springs day hike allows you view wildlife, marshes, streams and ponds. The trail is shaded and obviously very scenic. Bring your camera for this one, in case you spot some wildlife!   Seven Bridges: [gallery size="large" ids="1940,1939,1938"] Seven Bridges is an easy to moderate hike with a consistent elevation gain as you cross 7 bridges. Pretty self explanatory.   Catamount Trail: [gallery size="large" ids="1942,1941"] Catamount is a 6-mile roundtrip hike that is moderately difficult. This Colorado Springs day hike starts in Green Mountain Falls and ends at South Catamount Reservoir.   Paint Mines Interpretive Park: [gallery size="large" ids="1943,1944,1945"] Tons and animals and flora on this Colorado Springs day hike! This is an easy hike with gentle trails that take you past overhangs, spires, and carved walls, all in beautiful colors such as gold, rose pick, white and mauve. Unfortunately, no pups here.   Pancake Rocks Trail: [gallery size="large" ids="1946,1947,1948"] This hike unfortunately does not provide you with pancakes at the end. Pancake Rocks Trail is a difficult 5.5-mile out and back trail near Woodland Park. This is a perfect trail to hike, bike, or 4wheel from May-October.
