WICHITA FALLS, Texas (KAUZ) - Good evening Texoma! It’s a very dreary day today, but I hope you got to use the dreary weather as a chance to sleep in after last night’s noisy storms. A strong storm came across Wichita Falls around 2 AM and brough accumulating golf ball sized hail across much of the city. Luckily, that’s not much of the case today. Temperatures are only topping out around 50 degrees for much of the region. Heading into the overnight hours, a couple of spots in Texoma could experience a light freeze, but some of us will sit just above freezing. A few light showers are expected across Texoma tonight - and we could see some light snow mixing in across far western Texoma. This is not a major impact snow, but a rain / snow mix that might try to accumulate on grassy surfaces. Sunday we stay cool, but the sun finally makes a return! Next week, warmer and drier conditions return.
