International Dinner Night: Absegami High School in Galloway Township held its 10th annual International Dinner Night on Friday, a celebration of the various cultures around the world that included food, dancing, music and activities. The evening was organized by Absegami Interact Club advisor Ed Friend and his club officers. They also collaborated with the Tri-M Music Honor Society, the Absegami Dance Team and the World Language Club. Approximately 70 guests ate while Absegami band director Patrick O’keef and his Tri-M Music Honor Society members performed and Ria Patel, Mahi Patel, Nisu Parmar and Zara Shah danced. The evening culminated in a game of international Jeopardy put together by Interact Club webmaster Kamil Galin. World Language Club adviser Laura Barry and members managed a claw machine station, where attendees could exchange fake coins for attempts to win candy and small toys.
