Graduation season is upon us! The 2024 U.S. Air Force Academy graduation ceremony is taking place on Thursday, May 30, and the Air Force Thunderbirds will be making an appearance.

The ceremony is scheduled to take place at Falcon Stadium, and Vice President Kamala Harris will give the commencement speech.

During the graduation, the Thunderbirds will perform a traditional flyover of the stadium during the cap toss. In addition, the Thunderbirds will perform an air show demonstration following the graduation ceremony.

"At the close of the ceremony, cadets are dismissed and ceremoniously toss their caps into the air. Cheers and celebration are quickly silenced by the roar of the legendary Thunderbirds flying overhead to honor the graduating class," says the Air Force Academy.

Tickets to the graduation ceremony will be available online starting on Wednesday, May 22. More information is available on the Air Force Academy's website.
