Spring break is right around the corner.

The dog days of winter has plenty of people dreaming of warmer weather. With that in mind, Spirit Airlines released its list of trending spring break destinations this month.

The top destinations for the value airline aren’t too surprising, with top getaways being in Florida, Las Vegas and Puerto Rico where world-class attractions, beautiful beaches and vibrant culture are common.

“We know many travelers are locking in their first vacation of the year, and it’s clear they’re after warmer weather and major entertainment options with Florida, Las Vegas and Puerto Rico topping the list for our Guests' most searched spring break destinations,” said Rana Ghosh, Senior Vice President and Chief Transformation Officer at Spirit Airlines.

“Spring break is a great time to choose to fly in style and enjoy the value and enhanced experience that Spirit’s new travel options offer.”

Spirit connects travelers to destinations across the United States, Latin America and the Caribbean.

During the peak spring break period from March 14 through March 31, the airline plans to operate nearly 13,000 domestic and international flights.

The five most searched destinations on Spirit show that travelers are seeking a blend of sun, relaxation and adventure across major U.S. metros and the Caribbean to create a memorable spring break.
