ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — An armed suspect is in the hospital after he was shot by Albuquerque police officers in the area of 63rd St and Avalon Rd NW Sunday afternoon. No officers were injured.

APD said in a press release that multiple scenes are being investigated in the area. Further information will be provided as it becomes available.
