AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - The Amarillo SPCA will host wiener dog races as part of Starlight Ranch’s Oktoberfest event.

All dogs must be registered to race by 5 p.m. and the races will begin at 6 p.m. The winner of each heat will receive a prize.

Tickets to Oktoberfest are $21.99 for general admission with food and $11.49 for general admission without food.

Tickets including a wiener dog race registration are also available for $21.99.

The Amarillo SPCA will also be selling t-shirts at the races for $25.

All proceeds from this event will benefit the Amarillo SPCA.
