LENOIR COUNTY, N.C. ( WBTV /Gray News) – An Amber Alert that was initially issued for a missing teenager from North Carolina has been canceled.

The Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office said on Monday afternoon that the 15-year-old girl was found safe.

Before she was reported missing, the sheriff’s office said the teen was last seen at her Seven Springs home on Saturday night.

Officials did not provide any additional information about where the girl was found.
