American Ninja Warrior's 12th season has been officially announced by NBC, and for the first time ever, the most challenging obstacle course known to man is heading to Washington, D.C.
That’s right. The warped wall, the floating steps, the salmon ladder—it’s all coming to the District as some of the fiercest warriors around take on gruesome obstacles and fight for their chance to climb the infamous Mount Midoriyama.
The grand prize for achieving total victory is $1 million, and now you can become a part of the winner’s journey. American Ninja Warrior will be filming in Washington, D.C., on April 6–7 and April 11–12 at the D.C. Armory, and here’s how you can become a part of the show.
Watch America’s Best Warriors Battle It Out for Free
Applications to be a contestant on this season of American Ninja Warrior were due in December 2019, however, if you’re a die-hard fan of the show, you can still attend the filming for free.
The site “On Camera Audiences” will be giving out free tickets to be a part of the show’s filmed audience. As an audience member, you’ll not only see all the jam-packed action, but you’ll be living it with the competitors. You’ll sweat as they fall off the salmon ladder, cry as they fail to get onto the warped wall, and scream when your favorite contestant makes it all the way through. There’s no better experience than watching it all happen right before your very own eyes.
On Camera Audiences will start giving away tickets about 30 days prior to the filming, so be sure to check their website in early March to score your seats. The minimum age to attend American Ninja Warrior is 8, and the show is expected to film indoors in the afternoon and early evening.
Check back in March and let us know if you scored tickets to see the show! We’re counting on you to cheer the next American Ninja Warrior to total victory.
