It was a historic year for boys soccer in Southern Brazoria County, as the two largest schools by enrollment enjoyed some of their most successful seasons in program history.

Angleton advanced to the state semifinals for the first time in program history before falling to San Antonio Southwest, one game shy of the Class 5A, Division I state championship.
