ROANOKE, Va. (WDBJ) - Feb. 5, you can cheer on students and physicians as they compete in the annual Docs for Morgan basketball fundraiser.

Morgan Dana Harrington was a Virginia Tech student with a bright future ahead of her as a teacher. She worked at Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine for a summer alongside her father, Dr. Daniel Harrington, before her murder. She is remembered for her kind spirit and exuberant laugh.

During the event, medical students will try to defend their title against a team of residents and attending physicians. All donations will support current and future medical students and honor Morgan’s legacy through the Morgan Dana Harrington Memorial Scholarship Fund at VTCSOM.

The Docs for Morgan basketball game is 7 p.m. on Wednesday, February 5, 2025 at the Patrick Henry High School gym, located at 2102 Grandin Rd. SW, Roanoke, VA. The event is free, and donations are accepted.
