WICHITA FALLS, Texas (KAUZ) - Thunderstorms will develop around and after midnight along the Red River, north into southern Oklahoma. These storms will produce hail, gusty winds, and more heavy rainfall with another threat for flooding. Expect these storms to slowly develop southward into north Texas toward Friday morning. These storms may linger into the first part of the day on Friday but should taper off during the afternoon as a cold front slides to the south, bringing north winds and drier air into the area. This will set the stage for a much dryer and nicer weekend.
